Our Policies
Check-In/Out: Check in time is 3 pm, checkout time is 11 am.
Smoking: To
keep our fresh nature air clean for guests, we do not permit smoking in
or around the Cottage or house, nor in landscaped areas that others may
be enjoying.
Pets: Pets are not allowed, we are sorry to say (though we love them). We do not have enough rooms to designate one for pets, as we have a number of guests with allergies who visit. Also, dogs tend to want to chase (and sometimes snack on) chickens.
Children: Our property is best for people over elementary age. If you want to bring a younger child, please contact us. Read more about children...
Privacy: We will not share or sell your personal information with any third party, without your permission, except as may be required by law.
Towels & Robes: We are happy to sell you our monogrammed towels and robes. Each room is provided with an oversized towel and robe for each person. If you take them away with you, we will go ahead and charge you for their purchase, but we prefer you let us know, so we can give you a brand new towel or robe.
Breakfast: Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. every morning. You are welcome to request a self-serve, in-suite continental breakfast at the cottage instead of breakfast in the main house, if you would like to eat earlier or later. We only prepare a self-serve, in-suite, continental breakfast on major U.S. holidays, including Thanksgiving, the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter, and July 4th.
Room Cleaning: Consistent with sustainability principles, we do not change out linens on a daily basis. However, we are happy to do so by request when needed. We provide light housekeeping daily, and for longer-term guests, we provide a thorough weekly room cleaning that includes a change of linens.
