About the Inn
Tree Frog Night Inn is ideally situated for all the activities and entertainment that Whatcom County has to offer. We have a lovely, secluded setting close to outdoor activities, yet we are ten minutes from the culture and entertainment of town. We have easy freeway access, and the airport and train station are only 15 minutes away. There are car rentals available at the airport and in town, or we can arrange pick up & drop off service for a fee. There is a downtown bus line that runs up our road. There is an airporter.com shuttle from SeaTac to Bellingham as well.
As you drive up to the Inn, enjoy the long driveway lined with Rhododendrons and Sunset Maples. The Inn is set on five acres of Cedar, Fir and Maple forest with sunny glades, creeks, a fire circle, beautiful gardens, patios, berries and fruit trees, and a pond with fish and a waterfall. Salmon-bearing Squalicum Creek runs through the back of the property all the way to Bellingham Bay. We have abundant wildlife, mainly birds and small mammals including Pileated woodpeckers, rabbits, tiny woodland squirrels, owls, hawks, and many songbirds. In the neighborhood, there are deer and the occasional coyote, bear and even rare cougar have been seen to roam. The small grocery store across the street is named after the Baker Bear who comes down from the mountains every fall to feast on apples.
